SKYKNIGHT INTERNATIONAL SQUADRON
SKY9T history : PACIFIC FIGHTERS* Our squadron did its first step on june 2004 on PF and was at beginning only made of French people.
SKY9T_Mad and SKY9T_Moonknight were the first members, they were bored of being shooted down everytime because they were newbies so that why they decide to fly in group in 2004.
Its is in 2005 that SKYKNIGHT really start to be a squadron, with more than 10 member , with a website ect.. we decide to move to Forgotten Battle lobby in 2006, pacific fighter was too empty
In 2005 we opened door to any pilot from any country, was a good point for increasing english level of our french member. so SKY9T have 6 french, 4 from belgium, 3 from USA, 1 from chekoslovakia, 2 from germany, 1 from austria, 2 from Switzerland,1 from spain, 2 from holland.

SKY9T_Mad is the president, voted by the majority of our member (democracy rules). He s the designer of SKY9T logo and the builder of the SKYKNIGHT van. he s also producing skins, T-Shirt and stickers.
Moonknight, Coco is much more in charge of doing training and provide private lesson to each member. he also do skins as every pilot can choose 3 plane he want to be skinned.
Flying captains are Moonknight, Coco. They provide all the training the team need.
SKY9T_Mad and SKY9T_Mik are going to be flying captain really soon too
SKY9T flying tacticMain purpose of SKYKNIGHT is in fact ruling the 1 vs 1 fight much more than doing bombing or boom and zooming.
Most of its pilots are great fighter in 1vs1. They were learned many close dogfight tactics such as "double up" , "yoyo", "immelman" , "hammerhead".
if you want to train 1vs1 feel free to ask to any SKY9T pilot because they loved that and this is what they do the best.
As for team flying, We signed up for the USL season 2010 and came in 2nd in the Atlantic devision! which is not a bad place. Due to teamwork, good communication and great tactics, we managed to get so high!
SKY9T is flying more often open pit but we often fly in close pit as we find it more real, particularly for defensive moves.
SKY9T philosophy :The first rule of squad is that PRIVATE LIFE have to be protected at all price because many pilots in squad are old beans smile.gif so with family, children ect. that implies members don't have any obligation to come flying if they can't . some pilot are inactive for this reason but they come 1 or 2 time a month because they really can't fly a lot because sometime of their wife that don't accept the game or because of a big job that keep them busy too much and make them coming back from work too late for flying. we never let the game take more place than our lives , this for keeping an harmony.
The second rule is FAIR PLAY , we never vulch, no cheat, never shoot a plane with light on and aim at flying with honor as much as we can, fair play is something VERY important for us. we don't want to fly as "real" as it was during the war, we want to keep it a game between gentleman.
SKY9T PLUS : crazy pilotsas we are all really fund of our squad we love showing our passion to people.
As an exemple SKY9T_MAd create a special SKYKNIGHT VAN , a Chrysler, with iside 2 computer and joysticks connected on mobile network . with this van anyone can try flying 1vs1 inside this van with a SKY9T for discovering the game.

Admission's terms: The keys of a knight
1. You have to be 18-years-old - exemptions are only decided by VOTE
2. Teamspeak 3 is necessary in order to play
3. You have to wear the SKY9T initials in front of your nickname
4. You have to be curteous with every member and to keep in mind "squad image" when you fly alone with your tag
5. You have to respect SKYKNIGHT server flying rules such as: no vulching, no base camp etc...
6. Always remember that you are part of a squad so you can always count on us
7. Remember that its only a game so your private life is more important than the game
8. Flying frequency is free (Minimum 3times/month), never feel forced,oblige, to come flying ( Except when the squadron needs you exceptionaly, to make an effort in the name of the team spirit)
9. take care of your SKY9T skin, Polo shirt, T-shirt, Stickers
10. Enjoy FLYING , as much as possible always
Indicate your unavailability (holidays or other)
Answer the invitations of our schedule (oui/peut-ętre/non )
Make efforts on TS for the language in English and on the forum
Need to have an email address and phone ( SMS)
Need of your address for stickers
Acquaint yourself with information on the forum 1 time / week if possible for the hot topics
To participate in the important matches or any other challenges or in meetings according to your availability, when the squadron needs you
