Yesterday finally I found some players in duel server and I had pleasure to play with Pivo to test map/ distance between fields.

What I v noticed:

Open Pit as a arcade version of i2 for newbies give full possibility to open fire at the enemy in all angles, so in 1vs1 game, situation is :

2 players make merge, then both of them MUST pull hard with 0 % power and spray and pray at the enemy ...

This is a complete shit for idiots...

Such games dont show skills, only luck and some aiming...

Player who dont want to play like a retard is in worst position, because in Open Pit spraying noob have beeter situation to hit.


No tactic, no skills, just FPP with joystick for retards, especially with uber noob planes who let noobs climb like a rocket, keep 6 G all the time and so on...


Its only a opinion, I ts not a voice for change anything in YOUR tournament.

I v just said how it looks in the eyes of a guy who had more than 10 000 duels and know specification on such version of game.

I heard that kind of comments too much time. Open pit is for noobs and there is no skils to play like that.
My point of view is that this is the setting of the game offer the most fair play.
More of noob planes, there is noob tactic at my sense but anytime the best will win the duel at the end of the 5 rounds.

In other hand , the full real play is for sure the best setting for a real simulation.The shame in that configuration is:

1- not only skills are nedeed to win, the hard ware is mostly important
2- Track Ir is the device to have if you want victory
3- Screen definition is a must to spot bandits
4- some players like me use a joystck in one hand and the mousse in the other side.It is nearly impossible to spot and to fly the plane in same time.

Once again the best of the tounament will win and it is only a skill question (even if luck is nedeed sometimes)
There is no idiots in that tournament and i m sure you ll have great and funny time.

2 no, I know bunch of real killers who dont use tir, only hat, ( even I flew 5 without and with tir last 2 years:) )
3 17-19`` is enough, and nowadays most of players use more than 19``
4 no, its possible I knew guys who flew with mouse and keyboard only or only with keyboard, and they were amazing, a matter of training and skills

100 % of succes is = 25% is your equipment, ( 5-tir, 5 good stick, 5 rudder, 5 good screen, 5 good PC) + 25% practicing + 45 % skils + 5% luck

Your hardware nor stick wont win for you, deadliest weapon is your mind.

FR duel is an art, OP is a brutal, retarded FPP for the mass with joystick instead of mouse...

I can do the same, no problem for me, its annoying but I can used to it Its easy as hell here you have short manual, you need to decrease power to zero before merge, pull hard almost on G-rock, then in3/4 of manouver increase power to maximum, then roll 180` to horizontal flight ,aim , spray then use flaps and turn again...
Primitive, nothing special.
Now, I just dont treat that tournament seriously, because it will be ``spray and pray`` challenge, 50/50% of chances in h2h most of the time if players wont risk easy looses after 1st manouver.
